A gentle breeze blew slowly around the empy ring, the sun blazed down warming everthing around it. It was a matter of minutes before the crowds of people started arriving and Calypso was still stood in her horsebox. No one had brought this bueaty yet! So she had been moved over here and taken to the auction ring in hope that someone would take interest in her. But for now all they had to do was wait...A tiny bead of sweat trickled down Calypso's dial as she stood in her horsebox, it was very hot and she had been cooped up in here for ages! I really hope someone lets me out soon...It;s getting hot in here. Her mind ached even with thinking as the blistering heat was slowly baking her alive..
Luckily there was a loud 'thud' as Calypso heard the horsebox door chrash down, a gush of cool breeze swept around her bodice cooling her off quickly. Then a person walked in and grabbed for her head collor, Calypso bent her head forwards as she got lead out. When outside of the horsebox a shiver streaked through her bodice as a gallen of cold water was hurtled over her, now feeling a lot better that she was all cooled down Calypso let out a hapy nicker. After about 4 minutes she ha dried off and was givin a quick brush down, leaving her black coat glistening. But without hesitation she was lead into the ring where crowds of people where sitting around the edges, the comintater was sitting on a high stand and was ready to start. Calypso felt the person's grip 'round her head collor as she was let loose..A quiet thuping noise could be heard as she started trotting steadily around the ring.
The comintater straightened up and tapped his hammer a few times to indicate that he was starting and began.."Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. Here we have a fine 3 year old Friesian mare, she is trained in English racing and dressage but also makes a lovely pleasure rider. Do I have a bid on 150 dollers?" He searched the crowd for any bidders while Calypso kept up her steady trot around the ring hoping, praying that she would have a new home today.
