First let me say that this site is based off of my own local barn. The Garrett Mountain Equestrian Center is located in West Paterson, NJ and is, in fact, a REAL barn. The different places that are on this site DO NOT reflect what is really at the real GMEC. They are my own creation. Only the name was used in relation to the real barn. Now on to the description of the game.
This game is a roleplaying game. You can RP either a human character or a horse character or both. You can do basically anything in this game that you can do in real life. You have money and can go bankrupt. You can get a job or enter shows to earn money for your horses. Each and every one of your horses needs to be cared for like a real horse. You need to have your horse shod at the appropriate times, fed and watered several times a day and excercised every day. Heck, you even have to muck out the stall! There is a boarding fee and several different kinds of boarding you can choose to use for your horses. Horses WILL age and CAN die if they are old or aren't properly cared for. Human characters don't age, however so make sure to choose an age that you will be happy with thorughout your time here at GMEC.
That is all I have to say for now. This is just a BASIC outline of this game. To really get the hang of things around here, you just need expierience. Look around and read some other posts to see exactly what is expected of you. Before even joining, make sure to read the rules thoroughly so that you know what you can/cannot do. If you have any questions, please post them in the correct board and an admin/mod/member will most likely be happy to help you. Good luck!
